In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structural frameworks using a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and concrete. Your expertise will help ensure that building structures are safe, durable, and meet all design specifications. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing tasks. Erect metal buildings and install metal stud framing with precision and adherence to safety standards. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing to support structural integrity. Execute masonry work, plastering, stucco application, siding installation, and roofing projects as needed. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently. Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools; perform dimensional measurements for framing accuracy. Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on framing carpentry; previous experience in metal building erection is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans. Skilled in metal stud framing, woodworking, trim carpentry, roofing, siding, plastering, restoration work, and remodeling projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and basic math skills for accurate measurements. Knowledge of rebar installation techniques and concrete forming processes. Familiarity with construction management practices and safety protocols on active job sites. Excellent communication skills to interpret technical instructions clearly and work collaboratively with team members.
