Overview Hello, Midnight Sun Builders LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and related construction skills, demonstrating expertise in various aspects of Commercial and residential building and renovation projects. This role requires a commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety, and collaboration with other tradespeople to deliver exceptional results.

Duties Responsibilities include:

Light demo, framing (Steel studs/wood), wallboard, layout, decking, doors/windows, millwork, cabinets and trims, siding, stairs and more. Use of man lifts, ladders, safety equipment and power tools. Collaborating with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality standards. Daily clear communication and shared data with a supervisor. Interpretation and implementation of blueprints.

Experience Candidates should have:

Proven experience as a skilled carpenter with references available. Strong knowledge of construction phases and sequence. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A commitment to safety protocols on the job site. Exciting and challenging year round work on some of Alaska's best projects.
