Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a background in various construction abilities, including rough carpentry, finish carpentry, drywall, and general contracting. This role requires a hands-on professional capable of executing projects with precision and efficiency while ensuring safety and adherence to all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a broad range of construction tasks including forming, framing, roofing, drywall, installing doors and windows, kitchen cabinets, trim, base and general contracting duties. Interpret and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution. Supervise and work alongside apprentices, subcontractors, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Conduct site inspections to assess project progress and identify potential issues or necessary adjustments. Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and materials required for project completion. Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to provide updates and address any concerns. Troubleshoot and resolve any construction-related issues that arise during the course of a project. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.

Qualifications:

Minimum of [2] years of experience in construction or a related field. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environmental conditions.
