Overview Join our dynamic team as a General Commercial Construction Specialist and be at the forefront of building exceptional commercial spaces! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from office buildings to retail centers, utilizing your comprehensive construction expertise. You will play a vital part in transforming architectural plans into reality, ensuring quality craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency at every stage of the construction process. Duties Interpret and execute construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution. Perform commercial carpentry tasks including framing, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and trim carpentry. Steel buildings and concrete Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking and metal stud framing to complete precise construction tasks. Install fixtures, tiles, roofing materials, and perform siding and drywall work with attention to detail. Conduct concrete forming, and rebar installation activities as needed. Ensure compliance with power tool safety standards while handling heavy lifting and working on scaffolding or elevated surfaces. Read construction blueprints and technical schematics accurately to interpret project requirements. Assist in remodeling projects, and renovation efforts to meet client specifications. Support plumbing, electrical work, HVAC installation, and other trades to deliver comprehensive construction solutions. Skills Proficiency with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction plans across various trades. Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for woodworking, metal framing, fixture installation, and finishing touches. Strong background in commercial carpentry including trim work, door hanging, cabinetry, flooring installation, and siding. Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques combined with safety practices for power tools and working at heights. Ability to perform concrete forming (including rebar installation), roofing techniques, and water damage restoration. Excellent understanding of construction site safety protocols including power tool safety standards. Capable of interpreting technical drawings such as schematics for electrical or plumbing systems to ensure precise implementation.
