Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trim Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. Willing to train the right person, however, basic construction knowledge is a must. Pay is determined based on experience. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for building and installing new cabinets, installing countertops, and finishing interior trim components in primarily residential projects. Your expertise will help bring the customer's visions to life, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and precise execution. The ideal candidate is positive, motivated, and passionate about putting out quality work, ready to contribute to a variety of remodeling, restoration, and new construction projects. Duties Read and interpret cabinet renderings. Build cabinets to spec. Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim such as baseboards, crown molding, toe kick other decorative woodwork. Use hand tools like a measuring tape and level to ensure accurate installation. Operate power tools including drills, table saws and nail guns safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; adhere strictly to power tool safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in residential carpentry with a focus on trim work and construction skills are a plus. Ability to read cabinet renderings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and trim installation. Knowledge of safety standards related to power tools and construction site protocols; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Experience with hand and power tools is expected.
