The Carpenter works under the direction of the Lead Carpenter and is responsible for completing assigned work safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards. Essential Duties Perform framing, demolition, drywall, trim, doors, windows, flooring, siding, decking, cabinetry, repairs, and renovations as assigned. Read and follow plans, specifications, measurements, and job instructions. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment. Complete assigned work with attention to quality and detail. Assist other crew members as needed to maintain project productivity. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Properly handle and protect tools, materials, equipment, and customer property. Report material shortages, damaged materials, unsafe conditions, and job-site problems to the Lead Carpenter/Working Foreman. Follow all company safety policies and applicable OSHA requirements. Wear required PPE and use tools and equipment properly. Maintain professional and respectful relationships with customers, coworkers, subcontractors, and management. Do not make unauthorized commitments regarding pricing, schedules, additional work, or contract changes. Qualifications Construction or carpentry experience preferred. Ability to use common hand and power tools. Ability to follow plans, measurements, and written instructions. Dependable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team. Valid driver's license required Physical Requirements Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds, climb, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work from ladders or elevated surfaces when properly trained, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
