Carpenter Carpenters should be proficient in site layout and surveying, building layout, performing all tasks associated with concrete work, wood blocking, backing, specialty items, and all other project specific carpentry tasks as required. Skills Required Possess strong carpentry skills for constructing and removing concrete formwork. Formwork includes job-built forms and/or formwork systems. Setting and tying rebar as applicable, placing WWM, poly and slab preparation. Establish grades/elevations using a builder's level for concrete work Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level Install metal embeds, bolts, and accessories to be cast into concrete Willingness and ability to perform other carpentry and labor related duties for the company as they arise Operate equipment such as forklifts, backhoes, skid steers, excavators. Understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and materials required for form, or framing, construction as well as other carpentry work. Understand and work in accordance with safe work practices, including PPE, tool maintenance, and assistance with the overall site safety and quality programs as required.
