Skilled Remodeler / Handyman Lake Ouachita, Arkansas I am looking for an experienced, dependable remodeler or handyman to take on a substantial interior renovation of a lake house overlooking Lake Ouachita. This is a paid position expected to last several months , and housing at the lake house can be provided for the person doing the work. This is probably best suited for one experienced individual who has the tools, skills and flexibility to temporarily relocate and make this project their primary work for several months. The setting is a major perk. The house overlooks Lake Ouachita, you can walk directly down to the water, and access to a boat slip can be included. If you enjoy fishing, boating or simply being outdoors, this is a pretty unique opportunity. Lake Ouachita is a hidden gem and is especially well known for its striped bass fishing. When the workday is over, you are already at the lake. The Work The interior needs to be extensively renovated.

Work may include:

Demolition Drywall installation and repair Painting Flooring Trim and finish carpentry Cabinet installation Doors and hardware Fixture installation Basic plumbing Basic electrical General remodeling and finish work I am looking for someone who has enough remodeling experience to work independently, solve problems and move the project forward without needing constant supervision. What I Am Looking For You should have substantial residential remodeling or construction experience and your own tools.

You should also have:

Reliable transportation A good set of remodeling and construction tools Experience in several different trades The ability to work independently Good problem solving skills Pride in the quality of your finished work References and preferably photos of previous projects This would be particularly attractive to someone who has flexibility in where they live and would enjoy spending several months working and living on Lake Ouachita.

Pay and Housing Pay:

$25 to $50 per hour depending on experience and ability Housing at the lake house can be provided while you are actively working on the renovation. Boat slip access can also be included. Utilities and the exact living arrangement can be discussed before work begins. The project is expected to take several months, so I am looking for someone interested in staying with it from beginning to completion.
