Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for executing carpentry tasks with precision, supporting various construction activities, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about craftsmanship, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to high-quality building projects in a fast-paced environment. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, cabinetry, doors, siding, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Perform demolition, restoration work, water damage remediation, and mold remediation as needed. Support fabrication tasks including woodworking, drywall installation (plastering), caulking, stucco application, and tile laying. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience in construction or related fields with knowledge of carpentry techniques such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and cabinetry installation. Familiarity with hand tools (saws, hammers, drills), power tools (nail guns, grinders), and schematics reading. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety procedures. Knowledge of blueprint reading and the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Skills in various construction specialties including roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience, plumbing, masonry, or restoration are highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
