In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry, construction projects with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling and framing to commercial and T.I. work, all while honing your craft in a fast-paced environment. Experience in rough and finish carpentry and other areas of residential construction/remodeling preferred. The carpenter must focus on product quality and customer satisfaction. Pay is based on experience and capabilities. Duties Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job, sourcing wood to suit the customer's budget and style Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job Working together with other craftsman as a team Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code recommendations Execute trim, frame, metal stud framing, and cabinetry installation with precision Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution Install fixtures such as doors, siding, flooring, beams and cabinetry Handle heavy lifting tasks while maintaining safety protocols on construction sites Requirements Proven experience in construction, carpentry (including trim and framing), and general construction site work Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation Ability to perform remodeling tasks such as fixture installation, door hanging, flooring laying vinyl and wood. Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail in fabrication or custom carpentry projects Ability to read technical schematics or blueprints accurately for precise execution of tasks Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship!
