Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a Lead Carpenter to join our construction team. This is a full time position w/ a little flexibility. We are a small company doing remodels primarily. We also do some custom metal fabrication. In this vital role, you will oversee carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring quality craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency on every site. As a leader in the field, you will coordinate with project managers, supervise crew members, and interpret technical drawings to deliver exceptional results. Your expertise in various construction disciplines will drive project success and uphold our commitment to excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to lead by example and elevate construction standards. Duties/Skills Lead a small crew, assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed on schedule and to specifications. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately to guide project execution Perform framing and trim carpentry, with precision and attention to detail Perform other skilled trades as needed Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely while maintaining a clean work environment Conduct heavy lifting and dimensional measurements to ensure structural integrity and adherence to plans Collaborate with project managers to interpret construction plans and adjust workflows as needed for seamless project progression Ensure all work aligns with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle Do a little bit of everything to see a job through We need someone that can problem solve but also know when to ask questions
Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 40.0 per week
