As a Lead Carpenter, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing a wide range of carpentry and construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in metal building erection, concrete forming, framing, and remodeling will drive project success while leading and mentoring junior team members. Responsibilities Lead the installation of metal buildings, framing, trim carpentry, and remodeling projects with precision and attention to detail Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project execution Manage concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and masonry work to ensure structural integrity Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively on-site Coordinate with project managers to adhere to schedules, budgets, and safety protocols Supervise heavy lifting operations and ensure proper use of lifting equipment Oversee the use of technical drawings for metal stud framing, dimensional measurements, and framing layouts Mentor junior carpenters and laborers to develop their skills while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship Conduct quality inspections throughout each phase of construction to meet specifications Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress Requirements Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background in carpentry and metal building erection Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and construction plans Skilled in concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry, plastering, woodworking, and remodeling projects Proficient with hand tools, power tools, tape measure usage, and dimensional measurements Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding workdays Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites and heavy equipment operation Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and project stakeholders Basic math skills for measurements and calculations critical to framing and layout tasks Join us as a Lead Carpenter if you're passionate about delivering top-tier craftsmanship on diverse projects!
