In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring precision, safety, and quality at every stage. Your expertise will help bring construction plans to life, from framing to finishing touches, contributing to the creation of durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about craftsmanship and construction management to grow their skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Construct, install, repair, and remodel structures using various hand tools and power tools, including framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and woodworking. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and masonry work to support foundation and structural elements. Erect metal buildings and assist with metal building erection processes ensuring safety and adherence to specifications. Read dimensional measurements with tape measures and other measuring devices to ensure precise cuts and placements. Manage heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper use of safety equipment on-site. Collaborate with construction management teams to interpret construction plans and ensure project timelines are met efficiently. Conduct remodeling projects by removing old materials, preparing surfaces, and installing new fixtures or finishes such as plastering or trim work. Use welding skills where necessary for structural reinforcement or custom fabrications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly handling tools, materials, and waste disposal in compliance with safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a strong background in carpentry; experience in metal building erection is a plus. Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction plans. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other essential carpentry equipment. Knowledge of concrete forming techniques, rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry work, welding, plastering, and remodeling processes. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately and execute precise cuts using various measuring devices. Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks along with good stamina for long workdays on-site. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to construction projects. Strong understanding of construction management principles to coordinate tasks efficiently on-site. Valid construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols at all times; familiarity with interpreting technical drawings is essential.
