Foreman / Project Manager Job Summary The Rough Carpenter performs structural and framing work for residential and commercial construction projects. This position is responsible for accurately measuring, laying out, cutting, and installing framing and other structural components according to plans and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform wall, floor, roof, and ceiling framing. Layout and construct walls, openings, and structural components. Install headers, beams, posts, blocking, and other framing members. Read and interpret construction plans and framing details. Measure, mark, cut, and install lumber and other building materials. Assist with demolition and removal of existing structures. Install sheathing and other structural materials. Verify framing is plumb, level, square, and properly aligned. Work with the Foreman to identify and resolve framing issues. Coordinate work with subcontractors and other trades. Safely operate hand and power tools. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Follow all safety procedures and building-code requirements. Assist with other carpentry and construction tasks as directed. Qualifications 2+ years of rough carpentry/framing experience preferred. Knowledge of residential construction and framing methods. Ability to read basic construction plans. Strong measuring and layout skills. Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a crew. Reliable transportation. Ability to safely lift, carry, and work with construction materials. Ability to upload daily logs to our Buildertrend app, with reports, comments and questions (Tech Savy or willing to learn)
Pay:
