Installer Glazier

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual for the role of installer glazier. This position requires a strong background in construction and hands-on experience with various tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, including estimating, fabrication, and installation. You will be responsible for executing projects efficiently while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks effectively Install glass, windows and doors with precision Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements Engage in fabrication and assembly tasks as needed Conduct heavy lifting as required for various construction tasks Participate in remodeling projects, ensuring adherence to specifications Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site Qualification (Required) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 75-100 lbs, work overhead, and use ladders safely Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand/power tools Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team Comfort using power tools and ladders Professional attitude Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM with potential Saturday and overtime work Demonstrate safety and superior cleanliness on-site Freedom to use your own tools Proven experience in glazing with a focus on maintenance person skills Familiarity with glass installation techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Experience in manufacturing processes related to construction is advantageous Knowledge of carpentry practices including door hanging Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work hours Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Work Environment Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and lifting May require overtime and weekend work during peak demand J oin our team as glazier where your skills will contribute significantly to our projects while fostering your professional growth in the construction industry.
