Responsibilities Accurate measuring, cutting, and shaping lumber, wood, and other building materials Attaching building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts, and air-powered guns Building wooden structures, including walls, roofs, and flooring, according to design and blueprints Constructing window and door frames as well as staircases and flooring Ensure the structural integrity of floors, walls, and ceilings by blocking according to blueprints Examining building materials to identify any defects Identify deviations from design and troubleshoot manufacturing issues Performing cleanups of job sites by clearing away all carpentry debris and waste Qualifications High school diploma or GED (preferred) 2 years of carpentry experience, including framing Physical strength and stamina The ability to interpret blueprints The ability to accurately measure to specifications The ability to safely use hand and power tools The ability to lift, push, pull at least 50 lbs; bend, stoop, and kneel repetitively; and reach above the shoulder to work Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills Effective communication skills Additional Information The Pay Range for this position is $22.32 - $28.32 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Hours of Operations:
M-F 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with some overtime required, extending the day to 4:30PM Breaks:
10 min @ 9:00 AM, Lunch 30 min @ 11:00 AM, 10 min @ 1:30PM Location:
