Skilled Laborer / Carpenter

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laborer/Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a wide range of building projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency on every site. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through precise construction techniques and collaborative teamwork. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from metal shade structure erection to remodeling, while honing your skills in various construction disciplines. Duties Lead and assist in metal building erection, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to schematics Perform concrete forming, finishing, and rebar installation to create durable foundations and structures Manage and execute masonry work, including bricklaying, stucco application, and siding installation Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation, lifting, and material handling tasks Read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide framing, roofing, and carpentry activities Use hand tools and power tools proficiently for forming, framing, trim carpentry, woodworking, and plastering projects. Conduct roofing installations and repairs with attention to detail and safety standards Assist with restoration projects and remodeling efforts to update or repair existing structures Collaborate with team members on site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations Support the installation of siding, stucco, drywall, and other exterior/interior finishes Site clean-up, shoveling. Requirements Proven experience in construction site roles with knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, framing carpentry, siding, and remodeling Ability to operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and effectively Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Skilled in rebar installation, concrete finishing, plastering, stucco application, and woodwork Experience with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills as well as heavy machinery operation Knowledge of construction safety practices and ability to work in physically demanding environments involving heavy lifting Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project challenges Valid construction certifications or licenses preferred but not required; willingness to learn new skills is essential
