Job Title:
Carpenter Job Description The Carpenter is responsible for framing using metal or wood studs along with hanging and finishing drywall. They will be building walls, ceilings, stairs, windows, and doors. The role involves working alongside other trade partners on the job site and assisting with tasks such as site clean-up and maintenance. Responsibilities Frame using metal or wood studs. Hang and finish drywall. Build walls, ceilings, stairs, windows, and doors. Collaborate with other trade partners on the job site. Assist in site clean-up and maintenance. Essential Skills OSHA 10 certification. 2+ years of experience in framing and finishing drywall. Expertise in using carpenter's square, hammer, screw guns, tape measures, and saws. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with concrete, cement, and forming. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints. Blocking and carpentry finishing skills. Why Work Here? The culture promotes long-tenured employment with crews of 5-10 employees. The dress code requires work pants, jeans, and personal protective equipment (PPE) including a hard hat and steel-toe boots. The position is for the first shift, running from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Syracuse, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
