Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Kafka / IBM MQ Administrator for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This individual will be part of the messaging team, supporting Kafka and IBM MQ initiatives and support activities. The role involves designing, troubleshooting, and building Kafka and

MQ SSL/TLS

configurations, as well as participating in test and production environment support. A hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite is required.

Responsibilities:

Participate in test and production environment support

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in IBM MQ

3+ years of experience in Confluent Kafka Administration

Experience with installation, configuration, and upgrading of Confluent Kafka and IBM MQ

MQ clustering experience

MQ SSL/TLS

certificate experience

Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite

Desired skills:

Prior Banking/Financial Institutions Experience

Prior experience supporting Kafka and/or MQ in the public cloud

Pay range: $63.68 - $71.68 per hour
