Job Description We are seeking a dedicated General Shop Laborer to join our team in Blue Ash, OH. This role involves working on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm. The position requires individuals who have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in carpentry, hand tools usage, and teamwork. Responsibilities Use hand tools effectively to assist in various tasks. Build and route counters, shelves, and other woodwork for hotels and apartments. Construct crates for shipping purposes. Operate machines as required to complete tasks efficiently. Essential Skills Ability to work well in a team environment. Proficient in reading a tape measure. Experience with sanders or routers. High mechanical aptitude. Experience using hand tools such as those used by carpenters and installers. Must wear steel-toed boots and have a reliable car. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in wood finishing, including spraying stain, paint, and topcoats. Knowledge of fabricating and seaming solid surface countertops. Startup knowledge of general woodworking tools and methods. Willingness to be trained in different roles and skills. Why Work Here? Employees are expected to wear steel-toed boots and may handle various woodworking tools and machines. The role requires a reliable mode of transportation to ensure punctuality for the 2nd shift schedule. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
