Job Description

Position Summary:
This position will make an impact by fabricating large-scale exhibit environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Select the appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task. Cut resources down to size, as needed. Laminate from beginning to end. Must be able to Cut the laminate on the table saw, apply laminate with spray adhesive. Cut laminate with router and file cleanly to complete the process. Plan an effective approach to work to ensure that each project is completed on time. Gather the elements of each cabinet and assembling the final product. Work with shop foreman and project managers to ensure project is done correctly to estimated specifications. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Properly read a tape measure and have good mathematical skills. These are a requirement. Assist with exhibit development and lead the carpentry aspect of the fabrication process Constructing carts and/or crates that ensure the safe transportation of exhibitions Adaptability and ability to change priorities as they dynamically shift Handle heights as necessary; ladder work is common Carry heavy equipment manually or using necessary equipment as applicable Travel to trade shows required at times Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications and preferred skills: 5+ years manufacturing experience in the woodworking or cabinet making industry 2-3 previous exhibit house experience Strong knowledge of woodworking materials Possess strong organizational and communication skills Consistent attention to detail, and a dedication to excellence
Working Conditions:
Works in our Aurora, CO warehouse Ability to work in a cold/warm warehouse environment around moving equipment Ability to stand on feet for 6-8 hours per day Ability to reach about and below shoulder, push and/or pull, kneel, squat, bend/twist, and climb ladders
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
