Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking skilled and motivated Framers and Carpenters to join our dynamic construction team. We are looking primarily for those with Custom Home framing experience. Our reputation depends on providing a premium product with build standards far exceeding those of any tract home builder, home remodeler, or commercial contractor. If you take great pride with the product you provide and want to be a part of the largest and most unique custom projects in the state, we would love to talk to you. Having a reliable vehicle and drivers license in good standing is a must. You must also provide your own hand tools as well as eventually a Skilsaw and nail gun. We are an established company with over 30 years of experience and looking for those that enjoy a challenge and wish to be a part of something unique and long term. Our framers average 40 to 45 hours a week so if a reliable company that can keep work ahead of you is something you have been searching for, look no further. Responsibilities Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate framing and carpentry work. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently on various construction sites. Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures, levels, and other tools; perform dimensional measurements for framing and structural components. Read construction plans thoroughly to interpret technical details; collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless workflow. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper posture; contribute to site cleanup and organization for optimal productivity. Skills Extensive experience in custom construction site work with a focus on framing and carpentry. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to construction plans is a plus. Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws), power tools (drills, saws), heavy equipment operation (forklifts or manlifts), and measuring devices (tape measures). Ability to interpret technical schematics accurately while applying basic math skills for precise measurements. Familiarity with construction management principles to coordinate tasks effectively on-site. Understanding of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, working at heights (roofing), heavy equipment operation, and site hazard awareness.
