Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; some evenings/overtime near deadlines Reports to: Shop Manager About Us We're a Denver-based fabrication shop building custom trade show booths, brand activation pop-ups, experiential marketing installations, and branded event environments
•one-off builds that don't exist anywhere else until we make them. On any given week, you might be building a modular trade show booth, a custom retail pop-up, or a one-of-a-kind experiential install for a brand launch. We're a small, hands-on team that values craftsmanship, creative problem-solving, and getting things done right. The Role We're looking for a skilled carpenter/fabricator to build, assemble, and finish wood and mixed-material components, and prep them for transport and install. You'll be hands-on in bringing our projects to life, working alongside our carpenters, fabricators, and installers to turn drawings into real, physical builds
•and occasionally traveling with us to install them on-site. This is a great fit for someone who likes variety in their work, takes pride in clean craftsmanship, and wants to be part of a tight-knit team. What You'll Do Cut, fit, sand, finish, and assemble wood, metal, and mixed-material components Read shop drawings and build instructions, verify dimensions, and flag questions early Operate hand and power tools (saws, drills, sanders, jointers) safely and confidently Assemble modules, install hardware, and prep finished components for transport Pack, crate, and organize materials and finished components for shop and job-site work Occasionally travel for on-site installs and strikes at trade shows/events Keep the shop clean, organized, and safety-compliant Flag material or build issues early, and speak up when you see a better way to do something What You Bring 2-5+ years in fabrication, carpentry, cabinetry, or a shop environment building real components or assemblies Solid woodworking skills (cutting, joinery, finishing) and comfort working with mixed materials (laminates, metal hardware, composite panels) Confident, safe use of hand and power tools; accurate measuring and fitting Ability to read shop drawings/sketches and work independently from instructions A good eye for clean fits and finish work
•you notice when something's off Physical stamina: standing for extended periods, lifting/moving 50+ lbs, bending/crouching as needed Reliable, punctual, and a genuine team player Nice to Have Cabinetry or cabinet-making background Experience in retail fixture fabrication, custom builds, experiential marketing, or environmental design Basic metalwork or welding CNC machine experience Forklift or material-handling equipment experience Valid driver's license (for on-site travel) Details Contract hourly role; strong performers are considered for renewal/extension as project volume allows All tools and equipment provided on-site, including a CNC machine
