Our primary region of work is Fort Collins/Loveland/Windsor/Timnath (roughly 90%) with the occasional project included in the area of Red Feather/Estes Park/Longmont/Greeley (roughly 10%). My priorities when hiring are personal character, respect for all people (especially coworkers and clients), and an above-average work ethic. Wage depends on experience but in the range of $28-32/hr We are seeking a positive-minded and detail-oriented Construction Lead Carpenter/Foreman to lead a crew and facilitate construction projects from start to finish. This pivotal role involves leading skilled carpenters and construction tensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, Duties Lead and supervise construction crew (2-4 employees), ensuring all work aligns with project plans and expectations with attention to details Read and interpret plans and details including layout, dimensions, etc. Manage daily operations on-site, including daily tasks while planning ahead for materials needed and tasks to be completed Maintain a high standard of quality with above-average attention to detail Manage time and progress effectively as well as efficient use of materials Must be a good communicator, able to lead and instruct your coworkers without being "bossy", and relaying information with coworkers and clients Maintaining a clean and safe work site Must provide your own tool belt and basic hand tools (specific list available) - power tools are provided by the company knowledge of proper and safe use for general power tools, especially circular saw, jig saw, miter saw, and table saw Ability to lift and carry 80 lbs. including lumber, decking, concrete, etc. Experience Proven work history with references (please provide a resume) Extensive construction site experience with a deep understanding of building processes including safe and clean demo, footing excavation and concrete, framing, roofing, and finishing work Familiarity with scope changes and documenting time spent on various tasks Skilled in project scheduling, resource planning, and managing project timelines effectively. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and detail drawings accurately. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards; ability to enforce compliance across the team. Excellent management skills with a focus on team supervision, mentorship, and fostering a safety-first culture. New hires will have a 3 week trial period to determine if the job is a good fit for both parties; after this time a fair hourly wage will be determined. Paid holidays and 401k start immediately, PTO is acquired after 4 months
