Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Residential Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of residential carpentry projects, from framing and drywall installation to trim work and fixture mounting. Your expertise will ensure that each project is completed with precision, quality, and efficiency, contributing to beautiful, durable homes. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute residential projects. Construct, install, repair, and finish structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, cabinets, and siding using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing tasks including metal stud framing and wood frame construction to create the structural foundation of homes. Install fixtures such as cabinetry, doors, moldings, trim work, stucco finishes, and siding with attention to detail. Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, plastering, rebar installation, mold remediation, and water damage restoration projects. Operate woodworking machines safely to cut and shape wood construction materials efficiently while adhering to power tool safety standards. Assist with demolition or remodeling projects by removing old materials and preparing surfaces for new installations. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards while maintaining a clean and organized job site. Requirements Proven experience in residential carpentry with a strong background in construction estimating, blueprint reading, framing, trim carpentry, and remodeling. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for woodworking; experience operating woodworking machines is a plus. Knowledge of construction plans and technical drawings; ability to interpret technical specifications accurately. Familiarity with various wood construction materials such as siding, flooring materials, drywall compounds, and metal studs. Experience with fixture installation including cabinetry, doors (door hanging), flooring installation, caulking, stucco finishes, and siding applications. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex tasks like rebar installation or masonry work. Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols related to power tool use and general site hazards. Additional skills such as plastering, restoration industry experience (including mold remediation), water damage restoration expertise, masonry skills, handyman experience or metal stud framing are highly desirable.
