Job Description
Experienced Carpenter Johnson's Construction LLC is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our growing team in the Grand Junction/Grand Valley area. We are looking for a dependable, skilled carpenter who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can confidently handle residential construction projects from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Framing for houses, garages, and sheds
- Building decks and fences
- Composite decking installation
- Interior trim and baseboard installation
- Drywall and painting
- Exterior renovation projects
- General carpentry and handyman work
- Reading plans and taking accurate measurements
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Working independently while communicating effectively with the team
- Helping lead projects and keeping work moving efficiently Qualifications
- Previous professional carpentry experience required
- Strong knowledge of residential construction
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials
- Ability to read and understand construction plans
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Leadership experience is a plus We are especially interested in someone who can take ownership of a project, lead by example, keep employees on task, and help train less-experienced team members.
