Job Description

Experienced Carpenter Johnson's Construction LLC is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our growing team in the Grand Junction/Grand Valley area. We are looking for a dependable, skilled carpenter who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can confidently handle residential construction projects from start to finish. Responsibilities

Framing for houses, garages, and sheds
Building decks and fences
Composite decking installation
Interior trim and baseboard installation
Drywall and painting
Exterior renovation projects
General carpentry and handyman work
Reading plans and taking accurate measurements
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site
Working independently while communicating effectively with the team
Helping lead projects and keeping work moving efficiently Qualifications
Previous professional carpentry experience required
Strong knowledge of residential construction
Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials
Ability to read and understand construction plans
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Leadership experience is a plus We are especially interested in someone who can take ownership of a project, lead by example, keep employees on task, and help train less-experienced team members.
