Projects involve restoring and preserving historic buildings, requiring a strong eye for detail and the ability to work with existing architectural elements while maintaining their original character. What You'll Be Doing Perform high-quality finish and restoration carpentry Install and restore trim, molding, paneling, doors, windows, and other architectural woodwork Repair and reproduce existing wood components to match original profiles Perform interior and exterior finish carpentry Work with both traditional and modern carpentry methods Read plans, measurements, and project specifications Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently Work on a variety of historic and architecturally significant buildings What We're Looking For 5+ years of professional carpentry experience preferred Strong finish carpentry and woodworking skills Experience with trim, molding, doors, windows, cabinetry, or architectural millwork Restoration or historic preservation experience is a plus, but not required Ability to produce precise, detail-oriented work Comfortable working independently and as part of a team OSHA 10 preferred Ability to travel to project sites throughout Connecticut and New England as needed
Position Details Pay:
