Previous carpentry, construction, remodeling, or home improvement experience is a plus, but not required . We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, is dependable, and is willing to learn. Responsibilities Assist carpenters with residential construction and remodeling projects Help with decks, trim work, framing, exterior repairs, and other home improvement projects Measure, cut, carry, and organize materials Safely use hand tools and power tools Assist with setup and cleanup of job sites Load and unload materials and equipment Follow instructions from lead carpenters and project supervisors Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Requirements Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation Dependable and able to show up to work on time Willing to learn and take direction Comfortable performing physical construction work Able to lift and carry building materials Comfortable working on ladders and at heights when necessary Carpentry, remodeling, roofing, siding, decking, or general construction experience is a plus, but not necessary Positive attitude and strong work ethic What We Offer Competitive pay 401(k) Health insurance Full-time, steady work On-the-job training Room for growth and advancement within the company Opportunity to learn a skilled trade Opportunity to advance into a carpenter or lead position Established company with steady residential work What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, and interested in learning the carpentry and home improvement trade.
