In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work across various projects, including residential, commercial, and restoration sites. Your expertise will ensure that all structures are built to code, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your craftsmanship, work with diverse materials, and contribute to projects that make a lasting impact. Candidates should be passionate about construction, detail-oriented, and eager to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing, cabinetry, doors, siding, trim, and other wood construction materials with precision. Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking and carpentry tasks safely and efficiently. Perform residential carpentry tasks such as fixture installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall finishing. Assist in the fabrication of custom components using woodworking machines and CNC equipment when necessary. Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, roofing work, and siding installation as required by project scope. Ensure all work complies with safety standards including power tool safety protocols; maintain a clean and organized job site at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyman Carpenter or in a similar construction role with a strong background in carpentry and woodworking. Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools for woodworking including drills and sanders; woodworking machines; CNC equipment; heavy lifting techniques. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and familiarity with building codes related to residential projects. Experience with metal stud framing, drywall installation, fixture mounting, cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience (preferred), plumbing (preferred), masonry (preferred), water damage restoration (preferred), mold remediation (preferred), rebar installation (preferred), manufacturing processes (preferred), restoration industry experience (preferred). Strong understanding of power tool safety procedures; ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively. Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting; ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as needed. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation is preferred; additional certifications such as OSHA safety training are advantageous.
