About the
Role:
As a CBRE Carpenter, you willperform preventive maintenance and corrective repair to various structuresthroughout multiple commercial facilities. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function.

They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairson equipment and systems. What You'll Do Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the property and grounds. Complete routine, preventative, and emergency repairs, and maintain accurate repair records. Repair and maintain building structures, including walls, roofs, glass, siding, and related components. Review work orders, estimate materials and labor needed, and order supplies as required. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and maintenance documentation. Work with building occupants, employees, and stakeholders to understand repair and construction needs. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Respond to maintenance emergencies and coordinate additional support when needed. Follow all safety policies and participate in required health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs. Report potential safety hazards and unsafe conditions. Use established procedures to resolve routine maintenance issues. Complete assigned tasks and responsibilities under general supervision. What You'll Need High school diploma or GED preferred, plus up to 2 years of related experience. Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders. Ability to follow established procedures and work standards. Good communication skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic math skills, including percentages and simple calculations. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Pay Disclaimer:
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum rate for the Carpenter position is $28 and the maximum rate for the Carpenter position is $32.50 hourly. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
