The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial and residential construction, with the ability to read blueprints, install and finish woodwork, and collaborate effectively with project managers and other trades on active job sites. The person we are looking for would work on different projects/locations. Duties

• Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, and work orders to plan and execute carpentry tasks.
• Installs, frames, and finishes structural and decorative woodwork, including doors, windows, trim, cabinets, and fixtures.
• Performs rough and finish carpentry on residential and commercial construction and renovation projects.
• Measures, cuts, shapes, and assembles wood and other construction materials to specified dimensions.
• Repairs and restores existing structures and wood elements as directed by the project manager.
• Collaborates with project managers, superintendents, and other trades on active job sites.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety guidelines.
• Interfaces with the project manager to report progress, flag issues, and coordinate daily tasks.
• Works as part of a multidisciplinary construction team to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Ability to estimate material needs, reduce waste, and properly store supplies.

Capacity to fix on-site structural issues or plan adjustments quickly.

Pay:

$30.00 per hour
