Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on residential properties, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help bring construction plans to life, transforming blueprints into tangible structures with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and metal components using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines. Perform framing, roofing, and siding installation with attention to detail. Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, windows, flooring, trim, and other finishing elements in residential settings. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations, including power tool safety and heavy lifting procedures. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to all safety regulations and standards. Experience Proven experience in construction blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Extensive hands-on experience with residential carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, and woodworking techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, CNC machines, and woodworking machines for fabrication and assembly. Demonstrated knowledge of construction site safety practices including power tool safety protocols. Familiarity with various building materials such as wood construction materials, siding products, and flooring options. Experience in restoration industry projects or remodeling work is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Additional skills such as caulking, tile laying, fixture installation (including cabinetry), and roofing work are highly desirable.
