Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finish Carpenter to join our team for an immediate start. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality finish carpentry work across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise in interpreting construction plans, working with hand and power tools, and executing precise finishing touches will ensure our projects meet the highest standards of craftsmanship. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to execute precise carpentry work. Install doors, trim, siding, drywall, stucco, fixtures, and other wood construction materials with accuracy and attention to detail. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for woodworking, framing, rebar installation, plastering, tile laying, and other finish carpentry tasks. Perform heavy lifting as needed to handle materials such as wood panels, drywall sheets, or siding components. Conduct restoration industry tasks including water damage remediation, mold remediation, and reinstallation of damaged structures. Ensure all work complies with safety standards such as power tool safety protocols and proper handling of woodworking machines. Assist with remodeling projects by assembling components, installing fixtures, caulking seams, and applying finishing touches to enhance project quality. Experience Proven experience in residential carpentry or related construction fields with a strong background in finish carpentry. Must have 5+ years of Finish Carpenter Experience Familiarity with reading construction estimating documents and understanding technical drawings. Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, drywall installation, tile laying, and siding application. Knowledge of the restoration industry including water damage restoration and mold remediation is a plus. Prior work on construction sites with exposure to heavy lifting, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, and fixture installation. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions for various carpentry tasks.
