Job Description

Job Overview Brannon Specialties is hiring framers/carpenters for metal truss installation. You'll be part of a crew setting metal roof and floor truss systems on commercial and residential projects throughout Florida. Metal truss experience is a plus but is not required. If you've framed wood and you're willing to learn, we'll train you on the metal side. Most of our guys learned it here. Responsibilities Set, align, and brace metal roof and floor trusses Work from truss layouts and shop drawings Layout, blocking, bridging, and related framing work Load, unload, and stage material on site Install screws and connections per engineered drawings Work safely at heights from lifts, scaffolds, and ladders Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organized Follow direction from the field supervisor and coordinate with other trades on site
Qualifications Required:
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Comfortable working at heights Own basic hand tools Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in Florida heat Willing to travel to out-of-town projects when needed (per diem provided) Authorized to work in the United States Preferred (not required — we will train): Wood or metal framing experience Ability to read shop drawings and truss layouts OSHA 10 certification (we can help you get it) Scissor lift or boom lift experience Bilingual English/Spanish Valid driver's license
Pay:
$18.00 - $32.44 per hour
