Carpenter Job Description As a Carpenter, you will engage in a variety of tasks crucial to the construction process. You will be responsible for cleaning, disposing of waste, unloading materials and equipment on-site, and possibly moving furniture. Experience in working on airport construction sites is considered a plus. Responsibilities Clean construction sites and dispose of trash appropriately. Unload and organize materials and equipment on-site. Assist in moving furniture as required. Utilize hand and power tools efficiently and safely. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met. Essential Skills Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Experience in construction and general labor tasks. Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience on airport construction sites is advantageous. Work Environment Work in a dynamic construction environment that may include both open-air and climate-controlled settings. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, including wearing PPE at all times. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with potential for Saturday work and extended hours during weekdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Myers, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr.
