Job Description
Overview We are looking for multiple positions for forming and shoring. Must be able to form and shore grade beams, poured columns, wet decks, and pool structures. Must have minimum of two years experience in forming and shoring. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately construct formwork and shoring systems. Construct, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete pouring using hand tools and power tools, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications. Install rebar reinforcement within formwork to strengthen concrete structures according to engineering standards. Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and other machinery necessary for efficient project completion. Perform concrete cutting, finishing, pouring, and plastering tasks to achieve smooth surfaces and precise dimensions. Maintain strict compliance with construction workplace safety regulations while handling heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely progress, quality workmanship, and safety adherence throughout all phases of the project. Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete forming, shoring, or carpentry roles. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, masonry equipment, and heavy machinery related to concrete work. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to read construction plans thoroughly. Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers or cranes when necessary. Prior experience in rebar installation, concrete pouring/finishing, masonry work, flooring installation or renovation projects is highly desirable.
