In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finishing work that enhances the aesthetic and functional quality of residential and commercial projects. Your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and installation will contribute to delivering top-tier craftsmanship on time and within scope. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute finishing tasks. Install doors, trim, siding, drywall, stucco, fixtures, and other wood construction materials with precision. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, rebar installation, plastering, caulking, tile laying, and siding applications. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for remodeling, restoration projects, or water damage remediation. Ensure power tool safety protocols are followed during all operations to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct quality inspections of finished work to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to interpret construction plans and execute tasks efficiently. Skills Extensive experience in residential carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, drywall installation, and finishing techniques. Proficiency in construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints. Strong knowledge of woodworking machines, hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and safety procedures related to power tools. Familiarity with the use of woodworking materials such as siding, moldings, doors, fixtures, and other related components. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex restoration or remodeling projects. Experience in the restoration industry including mold remediation and water damage restoration is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail; capable of working independently or as part of a team on diverse construction site projects.
