Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures according to blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications. Duties :
Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components using hand tools and power tools with accuracy. Perform metal building erection, including steel framing and metal stud framing for commercial or industrial projects. Construct forms for concrete pouring and assist with concrete finishing tasks to ensure smooth surfaces. Install drywall, stucco, siding, trim carpentry, and other finishing elements to achieve high-quality interior and exterior surfaces. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes when necessary for material handling or structural assembly. Collaborate with construction management teams to adhere to project timelines, safety protocols, and building codes while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Skills Extensive experience in construction site environments with a strong background in carpentry techniques. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; interpreting construction plans accurately. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers), power tools (e.g., drills, nail guns), and measuring devices like tape measures for precise dimensional measurements. Knowledge of metal building erection, rebar installation for concrete reinforcement, masonry work, roofing systems, drywall installation, and plastering. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during framing or restoration projects. Familiarity with construction management practices including scheduling and coordinating tasks on-site. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to dimensions and material quantities; experience with schematics is a plus. Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and working at heights or in confined spaces.
