EVENTLUXE
is hiring a full-time, hardworking Carpenter Assistant who values grit, precision, and physical labor over glamor. While our finished products are displayed at high-end brand activations and corporate venues, the day-to-day work happens in a fast-paced fabrication shop and demanding load-in zones. We are looking for a reliable, resilient individual who is ready to hustle, handle heavy materials, and learn the trade from the ground up. If you are a grounded, reliable worker who shows up on time and puts pride into a hard day's work, we have a long-term spot for you on our build team.
Key Responsibilities Heavy Material Handling:
Load, unload, and safely move heavy lumber, custom build-outs, and staging materials in the shop and at job sites.
Shop Support:
Assist lead carpenters with measuring, cutting, sanding, and assembling structures using power tools, drills, and saws.
Site Installation & Loading:
Work on your feet for long shifts loading trucks, moving equipment, and mechanically assembling structures on-site under tight deadlines.
Organization & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, safe shop environment by sweeping, organizing lumber, and properly maintaining tools.
Qualifications & Requirements Work Ethic:
A serious, dependable attitude with a track record of thriving in physically demanding environments (construction, moving, or logistics).
Physical Strength:
Must be able to continuously lift and carry 50-75+ lbs throughout the day.
Skills:
Basic familiarity with hand/power tools and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Schedule Flexibility:
This is not a 9-to-5 job; you must be willing to work fluctuating hours, including early mornings or late-night finishes based on production timelines.
Logistics:
Clean driving record, valid driver's license, and reliable daily transportation to our Miami shop.
Pay:
$16.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Work Location:
