Schedule:

8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday Skyframe is hiring an experienced Carpenter / Wood Finisher for our Miami workshop. We specialize in custom picture framing, fine-art printing, and specialty fabrication for artists, galleries, designers, and commercial clients. We're looking for someone who takes pride in precise woodworking, clean assembly, and consistent finishes. Experience in cabinetmaking, furniture finishing, millwork, or custom picture framing is a strong fit. Responsibilities Measure, cut, join, and assemble wood frames and custom wood components. Prepare surfaces through sanding, filling, and other finishing preparation. Apply stains, paints, clear coats, and other wood finishes. Match colors and finishes, perform touch-ups, and correct surface imperfections. Safely operate saws, sanders, routers, spray equipment, and hand tools. Inspect completed work for accurate dimensions, tight joints, and finish quality. Keep tools and work areas clean and organized while meeting production deadlines. Qualifications Hands-on experience in carpentry, woodworking, or wood finishing. Strong measuring skills and attention to detail. Ability to work from measurements, drawings, and instructions. Experience with sanding, staining, painting, or spray finishing. Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently and with a team. Ability to safely handle materials and larger finished pieces, using assistance when needed. English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred. Additional experience we value Custom picture framing, cabinetmaking, furniture restoration, lacquer finishes, color matching, and finish repair.
