Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master to lead and execute complex construction and restoration projects with precision and expertise. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of residential carpentry, remodeling, and restoration work, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship. As a Master , you will utilize your extensive construction experience to interpret technical drawings, manage subcontractors, and deliver exceptional results on time and within scope. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining a safe work environment while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead residential construction, remodeling, and restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans. Oversee the safe operation of power tools for woodworking, hand tools, woodworking machines, and heavy lifting equipment to guarantee efficient workflow. Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately to guide carpentry tasks such as framing, siding, door hanging, trim carpentry, stucco application, and fixture installation. Manage on-site activities including rebar installation, plastering, tile laying, caulking, mold remediation, water damage restoration, and siding work. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and team members while maintaining strict compliance with power tool safety protocols. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure craftsmanship meets industry standards; address any issues promptly. Maintain detailed records of project progress, safety compliance reports, and material usage involving wood construction materials and other building supplies. Qualifications Extensive construction site experience with a strong background in residential carpentry and remodeling projects. Proven expertise in interpreting construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of construction estimating processes to accurately assess project scope and resource needs. Experience with various aspects of the restoration industry including mold remediation and water damage repair. Ability to perform tasks such as door hanging, fixture installation, siding application, tile laying, caulking, stucco work, plastering, rebar installation, framing carpentry, drywall finishing, and assembly. Strong understanding of power tool safety regulations combined with practical experience in handling power tools for woodworking. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately under tight deadlines.
