Job Description
We're hiring! Our growing Jacksonville-based General Contracting company (located on the West side, at Normandy Blvd and 295) has openings for skilled Property Maintenance Technicians, with an emphasis on Carpentry, Turn-key Punch skills, and/or Roofing repair, Tiling, and painting. If you're looking for top pay, then this job is for you. Our Technicians work job sites that are primarily multi-family housing and apartment complexes in our Property Maintenance/Renovation division. Responsible for making units turn-key ready from top to bottom. Experience with all phases of rehab and carpentry work helpful. Duties include installing fixtures, windows/molding, cabinets, constructing walls, subfloors/door frames, and concrete placement (duties will vary per site). Special priority will be given to applicants who have finish carpentry, turn-key painting experience, or roofing repair experience. Qualified applicants will have:
Prior experience with maintenance and rehab work in a multifamily setting Finishing carpentry, roofing repairs, or turnkey painting experience preferred Ability to work independently in the field and be able to communicate with the home office. Use of own tools. Experience with power hand tools is needed. Good communication, professionalism, and problemsolving skills. Knowledge of inspection codes and quality control experience is necessary. Need reliable transportation and a vehicle that can be loaded with equipment and materials for work projects. The company truck is available for some work. Use of ladders, scaffolding, and related equipment as needed. (Requires working at heights 13 stories). Must be willing to undergo a drug screen and background check. A clean driving record (will be verified).
