Concrete Finisher Carpenter

Duties Prepare concrete forms and set up rebar reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics, ensuring precise placement for structural integrity. Operate power tools and hand tools to pour, level, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces with expert craftsmanship. Install various types of concrete features such as hardscapes, flooring, stairs, curbs, and decorative elements like stucco or trim carpentry. Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute detailed finishing work aligned with project specifications. Mix concrete using concrete mixers or pumps, ensuring correct proportions for optimal strength and durability. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for heavy equipment operation, rebar installation, or masonry work on-site. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, scaffolding, roofing, or restoration activities. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on concrete finishing and carpentry. Strong mechanical knowledge related to concrete mixers, power tools, hand tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in rebar installation, form setting, plastering, stucco application, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry techniques. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and familiarity with schematics for various building systems. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours working outdoors or in confined spaces; capable of working at heights or on rooftops when necessary.
