Carpenter:

Read Blueprints:

• Study architectural drawings and technical specifications to plan daily tasks +

• Measure and Cut:

• Use tape measures, laser levels, and saws to measure and cut wood, plastic, or drywall +

• Construct Frameworks:

• Build and install floor systems, wall studs, roof rafters, and door frames +

• Install Finishes:

• Fit and install doors, windows, molding, cabinets, and hardwood flooring +

• Perform Repairs:

• Inspect damaged structures and replace rotted or broken wooden components

• Job Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of hand and power tools, mathematics, and blueprint reading +
