Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced Mobile Pet Groomer to join our team. We have a full time and a part time position available. The positions are W2. We provide all tools and materials. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in grooming various breeds of dogs and cats. As a Mobile Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to ensure the health and well-being of our furry clients. Your role will involve not only grooming but also creating a welcoming environment for pets and their owners. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and nail trimming for dogs and cats. Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Handle pets with care, ensuring their comfort and safety during grooming sessions. Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area, including tools and equipment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs, behaviors, and any concerns observed during grooming. Provide basic animal care services such as feeding, walking, or administering medications if needed. Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to enhance skills and service offerings. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming is required with additional training provided for the right candidate. Previous mobile pet grooming experience is preferred. Skills in dog handling, animal care, or veterinary assistance are highly desirable. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and safety protocols is essential. Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant, kennel worker, or in pet sitting can be beneficial. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care are crucial for success in this role.
