Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various carpentry tasks with precision and attention to detail. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial construction, remodeling, and maintenance tasks. The Carpenter/Laborer will collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Install tile, laminate, & luxury vinyl planks (LVP) precisely with close attention to detail. Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Perform drywall repairs & installation and finishing. Interior and exterior painting Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications. Execute concrete forming for foundations, slabs, and other structures. Assist in remodeling projects by removing old structures and installing new materials. Masonry work as required for various construction tasks. Install cabinets and other built-in furniture with precision. Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps in structures. Frame carpentry for walls, roofs, and other structural elements. Lift heavy materials as needed throughout the project. Various other miscellaneous tasks, such as installing light fixtures, installing faucets, toilet repairs/installation, etc. Experience Candidates should have experience or a willingness to learn in the following areas: Flooring installation - tile, laminate, & LVP Roof installation and repair Drywall installation techniques Blueprint reading for accurate project execution Concrete forming processes Remodeling practices for residential or commercial spaces Masonry skills for brick or stone work Cabinet installation methods Caulking techniques for sealing joints Frame carpentry skills for structural integrity Ability to perform heavy lifting safely We encourage individuals who are eager to grow their skills in carpentry and labor to apply.
