FCC is looking for an experienced framing carpenters to join our exterior renovation crews. We work on condominiums, multifamily buildings, and commercial properties. This position is a good fit for someone who can identify damaged framing, make solid repairs, and take care with the details that protect a building from water intrusion. What you'll do Remove damaged materials and repair or replace wood framing and sheathing. Lay out, measure, cut, and install framing for exterior renovation work. Install weather-resistive barriers (WRB), flashing, and related materials according to project details and manufacturer instructions. Assist with window and door openings, siding, trim, and other exterior work as needed. Identify concealed damage or conditions that differ from the plans and bring them to the superintendent's attention. Use tools and equipment safely, keep the work area organized, and work closely with the rest of the crew. What we're looking for Hands-on framing or carpentry experience, including the ability to complete repairs with limited supervision. Ability to read measurements, follow drawings and details, and produce clean, accurate work. Experience with exterior sheathing and water intrusion repairs. Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely at heights when the project requires it. Experience installing WRB, flashing, windows, doors, or siding is a plus. Our projects are primarily in Florida and may require travel to different job sites. We'll discuss the expected work area and travel requirements during the interview.
