Job Description
Summary (Carpenter
- Construction) A Carpenter is defined as a craftsman with skill sets, and experience level greater than most other tradesmen. The carpenter will generally have a small hand and power tool inventory and needs little direction to perform more advanced carpentry activities. Specific Responsibilities
- (Carpenter
- Construction) As requested by Foreman or Superintendent depending on Project's Scope of Work.
Typical tasks could include:
- Basic layout including shooting elevations, control and grid lines.
- Formwork for substructure, superstructure, bridge, deck, and beam concrete.
- Form, and prep slabs on grade.
- Layout and form standard columns and pier columns.
- Install standard and stain-grade trim work.
- Hang doors.
- Install door hardware.
- Install windows.
- Layout and perform wood and metal framing.
- Roof truss and sheathing installation.
- Layout and install stairs and common rafters.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support project operations and the successful completion of assigned work. Skills/Knowledge

- OSHA requirements for safety.
- Proficient in reading drawings.
- Capable of performing formwork for substructure concrete, superstructure concrete, bridge deck concrete, beam concrete, abutment construction, slab on grades, standard columns, pier columns, etc.
- Capable of running a crew of 3-5 men. Possesses necessary tools to perform his/her tasks. Qualifications and Experience

- Construction must have completion of Apprenticeship Program or equivalent life experience.
- Carpenter
- Construction must have a minimum of three (3) years in all phases of construction.

$26.00- $30.
