Carpenter / Laborer Crosby's Construction Stuart, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $23.00 - $29.58 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Driver's License Concrete forming Construction Frame carpentry Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled carpenter with potential as a supervisor to help on our construction projects and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction and carpentry, along with exceptional leadership abilities. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining safety and quality on the job site. Duties Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Coordinate tasks among team members, providing guidance and support as needed to achieve project goals. Utilize skills in construction, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and woodworking to complete projects and experience in supervision, takeoff and estimationg to assist in project planning and execution. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and facilitate accurate implementation. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment while ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols are followed. Manage various construction tasks including framing, concrete forming, rebar installation, siding, cabinet installation, door hanging, window installation and Ensure quality control throughout all phases of construction projects by conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of work progress and report on project status to upper management. Experience The successful candidate will have: Proven experience in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction practices. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting as required by various tasks on-site. A comprehensive understanding of safety standards related to construction site operations. Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and client interactions. Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory Drivers license and reliable transportation is required
